Obama needs to come out and say how HE thinks it’s despicable that so many of his fellow democrats find themselves above the mundane and distasteful chores like paying taxes.

A letter to the Editor of all the liberal newspapers…sent, but likely never to see ink:

I would like to respond to the folks who believe that anyone who doesn’t support Obama is a racist.

Nothing could be further from the truth, and I’m tired of hearing that lame accusation. I do not support Obama in this election, and I have many reasons for that. None of them have a thing to do with the color of his skin. Many of them have to do with his liberal voting record (when he votes something other than “present”) and his reputation as being among the most liberal in the Senate. This is inconsistent with my values and I suspect many conservatives feel the same way. I also believe that separation of powers, and checks and balances in our government were created for a very good reason; and that it’s a bad idea to put a liberal Democrat in the White House during a time when there is a liberal-leaning Democratic majority in the House and Senate.

Further, I believe that most politicians will say anything to get elected, and Obama has demonstrated ably that he is no different. By repeatedly accusing the Bush administration of creating the housing crisis, he has lied. Plain and simple. The housing crisis is a direct result of political decisions made in the 1990’s during the Clinton administration. In conjunction with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were authorized to make risky loans to people who stood a good chance of not being able to repay those loans and who would eventually be foreclosed upon. Banks were coerced into funding these risky loans by being given quotas, and faced losing business if they didn’t meet them. During the Bush administration, efforts were made by the GOP (including Senator McCain) to tighten up these lending regulations and head off the housing crisis before it became a crisis. These efforts were stopped, thanks to the Democrats in Congress and with Obama’s support. There is also the question of Obama’s ties to community activist group ACORN, currently being investigated for fraudulently registering voters. This doesn’t even take into account the question of other connections in Obama’s background, such as William Ayers and Tony Rezko.

So tell me, is Obama really any different? I don’t believe he is and it has nothing to do with his ethnic background at all, so please stop trying to play upon racial guilt in order to promote your candidate. It’s not a good argument, and if your candidate really is the “candidate of change”, it’s beneath him and should be beneath you as well.

Dear Senator Harkin,

As a native Iowan and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.

My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this bill’s
provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I
know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.

Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year so I’m excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way
that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2004 and 2005.

Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could
save almost $10,000 a year.

Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as ‘in-state’ tuition rates for many colleges
throughout the United States for my son.

Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the burden of renewing my driver’s license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums. This is very important to me given that I still
have college age children driving my car.

If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative. Thank you for your assistance.

Here’s the thing. Black people are notorious for using the “N” word, but no one else is supposed to…everyone knows this, but no one will say it. So…the bar owner is black. According to their own “rules”, he should be able to use the “N” word.

My take? If you don’t want to be called a nigger, don’t call each other niggers. Don’t use it in your songs, don’t change it to a softer form like “nigga”…just stop using it. I grew up hearing Richard Pryor say it and Eddie Murphy say it and just about every black comic, except Bill Cosby…who, I think makes the most sense of anyone of that race.

There are lots of things people say to hurt someone. Call them fat, or ugly or diss their mother. I have been called all sorts of hurtful and offensive things. But, my Mama said that “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” In other words, grow up and consider the source.

So. Since there is a Miss Black America contest and for blacks only magazines, and for blacks only churches…let’s have a for blacks only election. You folks have a vote and decide:

Is the word Nigger/Nigga offensive and should it be stricken from the language for EVERYONE, or not? If so…stop using it. ALL of you. It’s either OK or not. If not, when someone of a different color uses it? You need to drink a big frothy mug of Shut The Fuck Up and get over yourselves.

There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, Native Americans, etc.

And then there are just Americans.

You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You Call me “White boy,” “Cracker,” “Honky,” “Whitey,” “Caveman”. And that’s OK.

But when I call you, Nigger, Towel head, Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink…you call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day. You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day. You have Ma’uled Al-Nabi You have the NAACP. You have BET.

If we had WET (White Entertainment Television)…we’d be racists.

If we had a White Pride Day…you would call us racists.

If we had White History Month…we’d be racists.

If we had any organization for only whites to “advance” OUR lives…we’d be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that?

If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships…you know we’d be racists. There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US , yet if there were “White colleges” …THAT would be a racist college.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching, for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights…you would call us racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you’re not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride…you call us racists.

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society…you call him a racist.

I am proud. But, you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists?
